The angel placed by Deity in assignment to superintend his fellows
Stands before the Deity whom he loves but also has learned to fear
Not by mistake and consequence of his own but by observation of such
By a few of his peers and the many on the planet down below.
The matter at hand is a further instruction regarding the dismantling
Of the system of things entrusted to a speculator of usurpation
Who was given wide range to explore a proposal in opposition
To the stated purpose and direction of the Deity himself.
The experiment has long explored the proposal and its options
With glees and painful rousings collapsing to complacency soon bored
To the rumblings of troubles of awkward hopes of feeling alive again
Giving rise to pangs of conscience and agonies of pain.
The Deity had enlightened the angel through an earlier debriefing
With a view of the sacred calendar parceled warily to creation,
And motions had been employed toward the establishment
Of every sacred date marked therein.
So now the angel-in-waiting is commended then directed
To the placing of a sacred mark held in reserve by foresight
Scheduling a world-wide announcement to be missed by none
In the last of the last days of the rule of the wayward speculator.
The marked event is to serve for the encouragement of the sheep
And for the frightening and intriguing of the seeds held for the day
Of their scattering to soil or for remembrance in paradise
According to the choosing of the sower of the seeds.
The angel before the Deity requests a steward among Bible readers.
Both the angel and the steward accept the assignment in humility.
