Special Moments

My heavenly companions, report give you I,
Of my visits with the Pair of Earth.

Watch I the man look upon a wiggle of fuzz moving across the ground.
The man stoops to look closely and sees legs—a hundred, he guesses.
The man calls over to his wife—“See, a centipede.”

See I the woman appraising and grooming her garden home.
Supple are her hands as she relocates seedlings for her aesthetic wish.
Nimble is her eye to spot the birds and scurrying things on the move.
Interactive is the woman to find words and favors to quicken her man.

Ask I the man to name the directions, and he puzzles.
Point I to where the sun rose that morning and say, “Sunrise.”
He brightens, points the other way, and says, “Sunset.”
Smile I in approval with a hint of worry shown.
Wait I to see when he will understand “orthogonal”
and the need for abstract names.

Watch I the pair as they approach the Tree of Life.
They pause in profound respect as not with any other tree.
A choice befalls them driven not by hunger or haphazard moment.
They approach and eat as they build character in trust of Me.
