Darkness

O you fly-boy!
Up here?!
Wisdom vivified beyond My own?
With liberty to be all you can
You choose to be what you cannot—

A game you open?
Pawn to king-four?
A dare! A sneer! A smear!
A thrust against the living wisdom
out of which yours sprang!
But I will let you see
what you have done.

O you night-crawlers!
You, too?! Down below?!
Wisdom widening the eyes of disbelief.
For Me not a thought?
Your feelings all in all?

My heart calm I.
Trust I in full Myself
As should you in heed yourselves have trusted—
You beg to show what you can do,
Yet you choose the out-of-bounds
Forbidden by My love.
A lesson and its time for all to learn give you I.

In special councils speak I to the allegiant sons of God:

My name now slandered, to the ruin of all
If so it stands. The game at risk of all.
Plumb-blank it hurts to say.

Profound is My anger. To the depths of My long-suffering the playing of this game
Reaches. Nearly half an earthly year by count of spoken day-millennia will satisfy
My justice and My wisdom.

Swear I by My Name!
Cause I Myself to become—in this plight—

At need engendered by ones of My own making—
By their own choices now in assay—
Seizing supremacy
out of My gift of liberty—
Not to Me returning My love
in respect of the love I deserved—
I cause Myself to become a Man of War.

In all I become My all remains. Form I what I will but forever remain I the same.
Weighed in contrast, principles are in Myself just one. Endurance will My victory
Obtain.

Bear will I the grief of War.
Abide will I the shame of Wealth and Poverty.
Sorrow will I for the Storm-blast.
Withstand will I the grief of Loss.
Play will I the game for all to take a side
and cheat will they and theirs
yet win will I and Mine.

Beloved ones, speak I for the sake of yourselves,
as, to hold fast unto My side, you toil.

Not will I bear forever a smear against My Name. For you, not, My Son, nor for you,
Dear fellows of My Son, nor for the brothers of My Son yet to be bought from below,
Nor for the dream of all creation.

So, My Heavenly Army,
now so dubbed by the Man of War,
listen.
A savage threat to all creation is this rebellion.
Remain I the same forever with or without your praise.
Rings praise true through obedience and love, thus,
need you your acts and words of praise,
your need entwined into your lives,
as I forever will not bear
grief that smears creation.
